ReLoCate is a new movement arts collective in Calgary formed by choreographers Helen Husak, Melanie Kloetzel, and Jason Stroh that specializes in collaborative acts that marry the physical feats of dance performance with the most cutting edge practices in theatre, music, media arts, and visual arts.
I was selected to participate in their first performance of a series, The Experiment #1, where audiences are treated to contemporary ideas, cross-disciplinary dialogues, and collaborative engagements. I will be joined by choreographers Amanda Acorn, Helen Husak, Melanie Kloetzel, Jason Stroh and Deanne Walsh.
